What we are

An independent daily for South Beach and Miami Beach. We gather the day's headlines from national and local outlets and lay them out plainly, and we give the neighborhood's businesses, galleries and restaurants a place to speak through our Press Wire.

Independently owned and run. No parent company, no wire syndicate — just the Beach.

How we work

Every headline we display links straight to the outlet that reported it. We show a title, a short excerpt and the source — never the full article. We do not republish, mirror or rewrite anyone's reporting.

Press releases are marked “Press Release” and published as submitted. Spot something that needs a correction? Email us and we will put it right.

Editorial policy

Where our headlines come from. Headlines come from a licensed news API (Mediastack) and Google News, filtered to South Beach, Miami Beach and Miami.

What we display. The headline, a short summary or photo where provided, and a quiet “via” credit to the publisher. Every item links straight to the original story.

What we never do. We never republish or rewrite the body of another outlet's article.

Press releases & copyright

Press Releases. Press releases are clearly labelled “Press Release”. They are written and supplied by the organizations that submit them and are published as received.

Copyright. All headlines, images and articles remain the property of their respective publishers. The South Beach Daily name, logo, design and our own text are ours.

Corrections. Email editor@southbeachdaily.com and we will correct any error.

Colophon. Headlines from a licensed news API (Mediastack) and Google News. Weather by Open-Meteo. Set in Noto Serif & Noto Sans. Corrections: editor@southbeachdaily.com.
