Culture and Cuisine at Lincoln Road Farmers Market

hoagToyota VENZA Celebrates the Culture and Cuisine of Latin America at the Lincoln Road Farmers Market.

WHAT:         
12 noted local Latino chefs, and chefs that specialize in Latin cuisine, are paired with market farmers to highlight the bounty of locally-grown food and produce available at the popular Lincoln Road Farmers Market in Miami Beach. The chefs will prepare tastings inspired by Latin American cuisines that showcase their partner farm’s fresh ingredients. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample the chefs’ creations while also learning more about the market vendors, their products, and how to buy and eat seasonally and locally.

WHERE:
The event is located adjacent to the Lincoln Road Farmers Market at the cross streets of Lincoln Road and Euclid Avenue.

WHEN:     
The event starts at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2009 and concludes at 5:30 p.m. the same day. On-site photo, video, and interview opportunities with local Latino chefs, local farmers, and market goers will be available. The vibrant colors found at the farmers market and bounty of local produce provide a picturesque backdrop for chefs to whip up delicious bites that are sure to engage and inspire market goers, as well as boost the local economy.
