The upcoming February dinner recalls cuisine from Umbria, a hilly and mountainous often referred to as il cuor verde d’Italia (the green heart of Italy) for its central location and stunning green lands. The culinary team incorporates regional ingredients such as olives, mushrooms and a variety of other vegetables, with fresh fish and pork to create authentic dishes. Umbria is also known for its grape harvest and resulting variety of top class wines such as Sagrantino di Montefalco, Orvieto Classico, Alpolicella, Soave, Barolo and Barberesco, from which our Sommelier has selected top picks for a complementing wine list.

Cioppino restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne brings the island’s magic and mystique to life with romantic monthly moonrise dinners outdoors on a beautiful terrace, with a front seat to nature’s show. While sky gazing from tabletop telescopes, allow the restaurant’s Constellation Connoisseur to point out key stars and constellations and take a journey with an ever-changing four-course menu inspired by a gastronomic region of Italy and created especially for the evening by the Sommelier and the culinary team.
Complementing this unique dinner experience is the Moonrise Romance package, including champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival to set the mood, four-course, wine-paired dinner for two and overnight accommodations in an oceanfront room with a balcony to further enjoy the moonlit evening, replaced with a stunning sunrise by dawn.
