THE RALEIGH
Ring in 2009 burlesque-style with the legendary Susanne Bartsch & friends. Susanne is known for her outrageous parties and eye-catching visuals, so plan on hitting this one first. Regular tickets from $150 and dinner from $195. Open bar 9:30 – 12:30. Party till 5am. (Guests of The Standard will receive $50 off the ticket price.)
THE STANDARD, MIAMI
Stay at The Standard on New Year’s Eve for $225 where you can celebrate the New Year serenely at the spa (complimentary breakfast included). If you’re just looking for a hydrotherapy hangover cure, day passes are available for $40 (includes full use of indoor and outdoor baths and hamam). The Standard is a few minutes removed from the craziness of South Beach, yet totally within walking distance to Lincoln Road and all the top cafes and restaurants.
